Based on the concept of image-lava, this two pieces consists of a series of pieces built layer by layer as it happens in the natural process after an eruption, the lava is expelled by the volcano and forms several layers on the surface of the Earth. Pahoehoe is a type of lava from the Kīlauea volcano in Hawaii, whose name means smooth, uninterrupted lava. Pahoehoe lava is characterized by being basaltic lava that has a smooth, bulging, undulating, or rough surface. From the Latin Labes, it means falling, sloping, or penetrating. Lava is the name given to the geological material in fusion with a temperature generally between 600º C and 1250º C when expelled by the volcano. Lava, a geological material in fusion, when it is expelled from the volcano is in a fluid and viscous state, in this state of fluidity the lava reaches high temperatures causing destruction and transformation, which from another point of view is also a process of renewal and transformation. The lava flows tend to flow and disperse, creating volcanoes with different shapes, it's this geological silhouette that forms the image of the volcano. It was from the image of the lava flows, where the lava gives shape layer by layer through its dispersion when it is expelled by the volcano, that I built this series of pieces.
